I am comfortable with the above happening, but Rei may not feel the same way. Just to point it out.

Rei comes from a horror canon, and some of the things covered in her canon can be very unsettling. Furthermore, some of the things Rei has dealt with over the years is death, torture, various dubious situations. If anything is too much, let me know, and I will ensure it's not mentioned while we're threading.

Thanks to her Portes and canon history, Rei is able to do some pretty strange things. However some of these things I would rather have her only do with permission. So:
↠ Would it be possible for Rei to detect your character's emotions?
The stronger the emotion, the more likely Rei will be to detect it, and moreover, feel as if the emotion is her own. This can be done either in the same room, or can be amplified via touch. Rei is aware of touch being a problem, and tries to go out of her way to warn people ahead of time.
This can be intentional or accidental ICly. Furthermore, if we want, we can roll the dice to see how strongly she's able to detect it. Which comes to the next topic:
↠ Would it be possible to read a memory?
When Rei rolls really well or really badly, this usually triggers a memory read, tied to the emotion or thought that your character had, in their point of view. It could be anything, so long as it's tied to the situation. If she rolls low, she sees it remotely, is not emotionally or physically compromised. If she rolls high, then she gets the emotional outpouring, overdoes herself, and faints afterwards.
Anything to a 70 and above will start a headache, and go downhill from there.
Again, touch makes this more likely to happen, but she can just be in the same room for this to be set off.

This is what Rei is more used to, and has done with various objects around the castle, including the Silver Gentleman's ("Sil") shackles, journals, shorts, gems, and various other items. She's been doing this to understand the history of the castle, but she can attempt to do the same with other objects, especially those that people have brought with them.
This does not work when the items are too new.
Questions and clarifications are more then welcome for this, as I know this can be confusing!
