⥈One of the magic types in town. Good fashion sense, and rescued me from the statues during the masquerade. Says he's the most powerful transmutation magic user from where he's from. Ferune( spelling?), I think. I owe him my life.

↭ She doesn't want to wake up. It hurts to hear that. It makes me think...think there's a reason. Maybe if we talk, maybe if...I don't know. There's so much I don't know. ↭ We've been meeting up. Speaking to one another. Maybe it would help if we were both more assertive, or if one of us was. But I keep worrying that I'll mess up somehow. It'd be nice to have a friend. ↭ I...don't know what we are. I don't know if I made a mistake. But for awhile, it was nice to feel that way. Nice to feel...carefree, and hoping I made her feel the same.

⟳ I let him shelter in my house during the storm. He didn't seem to know what to do. It's funny though. He feels...he makes me think that we're similar, somehow. ⟳ I hate that black drink. I have no idea what he thinks of me anymore. But he dresses up nice, and isn't a bad dancer.

✎ We met during the clean up, after all the storm and mists were done. He's steady. Kind. I'm reminded of Yuu in him, in a lot of ways-but that makes our friendship all the more precious. Because I think-I hope-we can rely on each other, on the things to come. ✎ Nothing is ever as it seems. He thought I would reject him. How could I? After hours of dancing, speaking to one another, both of us pained for the girls- What does it matter? There's more to the story. There always is.

♦ He seems a little shy. Tentative, even as he tries to say my last name. He's trying. He's very polite, it seems, so far. He's so young for this place. ♦ Eddie needed help getting his cast off in the hospital. He was scared to go. I don't blame him. I think...he has anxiety? He had a panic attack at one point, I think. But he believed me. ♦ How did I get attached to someone so fast? It's tempting to fuss over him. I already fuss, I'm sure, but he did look nice in his suit. But still... He's been through so much. How could anyone dare bring their children, or have them born where he was from? Derry...it sounds like such a horrid place.

⸕ It's interesting. She's steady, ready to look out for people-her people, I think. Or at least, she knows her way around the kitchen. More then I do, which isn't saying much. ⸕ She's interesting, but I don't know if it's a good sign that when I say "relaxing" that she says "drinking". At least she didn't suggest something scandalous?

Icarus or a bird?

⊕ I thought him something else at first, but he escorted me back. After we had a polite argument first. It seems that he's as stubborn as I am. I bet he's going back as soon as he thinks I won't follow. ⊕ He suggested investigative work. It seems he works for F.E.A.R? Some organization that does something...I don't know what it does, actually. I'm no good with fighting, not here, or with building things other then cameras. He seems hard at work. Maybe too hard. ⊕ Peter mentioned that Tony is kind of a big deal, back in his world, capable of grand feats of technology. But thinking on it... He looks human. He looks...tired.

The unarmed bodyguard

⧓ He seems a little gruff around the edges but...he just wants to understand, like everyone else. He certainly cleans up nice, and was kind enough to offer me his shoes when I lost mine, shortly after taking them off. He is kind. Just aware that we were in a bad situation, and wanting to know why. Just like me.

Young and nervous

⧚ He's from 2017? 2017. That feels like a life time away. And he's sixteen too. Why do all these kids keep coming in? ⧚ He's nervous and it's partially my fault. But I at least tried to prepare him for what lies ahead, though not well. I didn't know either. But he's still...well. He was upset, but I would be too, if that clock chimed for me too.

♞ He helped me get ready for the storm by duct taping the windows. He's a decent man, energetic, lively. It was nice, just talking to him, even if he did fluster me a little. But that was my own fault. ♞ He taught me how to line dance. How can one person seem so bright? I don't know. But when I look at him, talk to him, there's something that eases inside of me, and I don't know what it is. I don't know why it is. It's almost too much. ♞ He didn't dismiss the camera. I almost wanted to impress him. Why do I want to impress him? Or anyone? I don't need to. It's foolish. I need to focus. I need to focus, and not think of my possibly racing heart due to his acceptance. Focus, Kurosawa. Focus.

❈ We spoke of the ley lines. It's interesting; I've never heard of the like before. ❈ He helped me in the library; it seems he has a small ghosty companion with him too. The fawn is adorable. The information to make deer treats are even better.

Standing tall

✵ She's another young one here, seems to have a very firm idea of her boundaries. I just hope she does all right here. ✵ It sounds as if Fushi was living with Max. That must hurt. But it also begs the question of...who's shopping, who's cleaning, that sort of thing. Silly to be sure, but I hope she's taking care of herself. Not that I can say anything. I'm not very good at cleaning, not like Miku was.

❧ He's gone through a lot. Those bruises-how did that happen? Speaking to him, I see a young man-a boy, really. If I push, he'll run. So I won't push. At least he sometimes eats broccoli. ❧ He was drinking the blood. Gods, he was drinking the blood. He panicked afterward, but it still...something is going on, more then what he's saying. Maybe it's not a surprise, all things considered. I want to so badly bring him to my home but...would it be fair? Is that what he wants? What he needs? Surely he's living with someone already. Surely.

✾ She seems like an elegant young lady, prepared to help out as much as possible. I can respect that. Shoes seem like a foolish weapon, but it's easy to bring in. And, too, she says she's strong. I'm sure she is. She would have to be, to survive the storm.

☕ We met on the mountains, and he seems well composed, poised for action. I can respect that. ☕ He needs to have fun. Fun means we won't break when it matters. ☕ I know he's from space but I'm not used to thinking about aliens. And he's not used to thinking about flirting, from the sounds of it.

☄ He's very much an action sort of fellow. A manager though of a cabaret...hearing that took me by surprise for some reason. ☄ He helped me with the doe. I'm glad for it. She hadn't harmed anyone. It upset him, I think, to see her like that. ☄ It was easy for him to make me miss home, with a few sentences. Salmon. Crab. Sake. It's the little things that one misses about home.
